Arbores Classical Homeschool Community

We are a Christ-centered homeschool community rooted in Classical and Charlotte Mason philosophies, dedicated to cultivating a peaceful, life-giving approach to education. Our desire is to give children a rich and meaningful learning experience that nurtures both a love of learning and a desire to seek and know truth—understanding the world through knowledge and the wisdom that comes from God. In all we do, we pursue wisdom together, shaping hearts and minds toward what is true, good, and beautiful.

At the heart of our community is a shared commitment to learning in fellowship. Homeschooling can be both beautiful and challenging, which is why we gather as like-minded families to support, encourage, and learn alongside one another. Each week provides an opportunity for students to grow academically while parents are also strengthened through connection, encouragement, and shared experience. Together, we carry the joys and challenges of homeschooling in a spirit of unity and purpose.

Our approach is grounded in the Classical tradition, a time-tested model of education centered on the pursuit of truth, goodness, and beauty through the liberal arts and the great books. Students engage with subjects such as grammar, logic, rhetoric, and music—disciplines that form the foundation for critical thinking, clear communication, and lifelong learning. This approach has shaped generations of leaders, thinkers, and creators, and continues to offer families a meaningful and enduring vision of education.

Alongside this classical foundation, we embrace the Charlotte Mason philosophy, valuing living books, rich ideas, and meaningful engagement with learning. Rather than rushing to simply “cover” material, we pursue depth over breadth, allowing students to truly encounter ideas and develop a lasting love for learning. Education is not meant to be hurried, but formative—an experience marked by wonder, attention, and joy in discovery.

As a community of learners, we grow together through weekly gatherings that include shared learning, enrichment classes, and supportive rhythms for families.
